This... this is so lovely and SQUISHY, and oh my GAWD, they're so beautiful together! I loved, loved, loved this more than is reasonable - the flecks of grey in Merlin's hair and him drooling over the spellbook and turning beards green and the ease of how they're together and how much has not changed! They're still... oh, they're still so much in love with each other and still snarky (but in a gentler way) and they're so used to each other and so necessary to each other. This is how they should be, this is how they will be, and now you've made me all wibbly and tearfully happy and I must go and lay my head down on someone's very soft lap.

... Okay, a pillow. I've no lap to lay my head on. D:
