1. Angst:

Morgana smiled calmly. ‘I won’t.’

3. Crack!fic:
Merlin looked nervous. ‘Arthur, I’m pregnant, and Morgana’s the father.’

4. Crossover:
‘THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAAA!’
‘Actually,’ Merlin interrupted tentatively, ‘this is Camelot.’

5. First Time:
Afternoon sun dappled the sheets; unhurried, they took their time.

6. Fluff:
Merlin woke snug in Arthur’s arms. ‘Morning,’ he smiled sleepily.

‘Merlin, tell me you didn’t turn Gaius into a chicken.’

His magic soothed the pain; his lips erased her fears.

In other news I'm (slowly) working on fic for the pay it forward meme and I should hopefully have something to post for tomorrow. Also I decided to treat myself to a paid account for my birthday. This may or may not have been motivated largely by my desire for moar pretty icons ;p

Heh, Uther/Morgana, the lure is strong.

I'm taken with the AU myself - assassin!Morgana (who sees the future - now that is a useful power for an assassin) would kick ass. And Gwen would totally be her weapons dealer/best friend, and Merlin is her assassin partner (his general air of innocent incompetence is the perfect cover). And she gets contracted to kill Uther! But there are all sorts of plots and conspiracies afoot! With double-crossing and assassin!fights with Nimueh! And maybe Edwin! And of course plenty of Uther/Morgana and Merlin/Arthur!

(this is basically my shameless assassin fantasy where I picture Morgana wearing lots of leather and handling sniper rifles and knives *shallow*)

i've now had my second foray into genuine merlin fandom and i enjoyed it immensely. you write really very well, so there. you played around with ten words, or fewer, and did it so damn well!

I LOVE 9. i think i've picked my merlin OTP now. i mean i kind of already had, but now it's just got to be done. uther/morgana ftw.

and the crossover is so beyond epic, heh, and so very funny that I think the neighbours now assume I'm an insane cackling loony. which is a fairly good assessment to make.

The crackfic made me lol. It also terrified me, which is a weird emotional combination of things, you know? And poor Arthur would probably be jealous that even Morgana's seed was more potent than his. (What the heck am I saying?)

FIRST TIIIIME. That one totally deserves an expansion into a fuller fic. I want to see them "taking their time". :D

Or, or, you know what? What if you linked all 10 together somehow in the one story! It would be an epic tale of love triangles and assassinations and pregnancies and revenge!

ASSASSIN!MORGANA KICKS. ASS. With her sexy leather, l33t weapons skills and helpful precog dreams she would be unstoppable.

The crack one kind of terrifies me too. I've so far avoided trying to think too much about the detailed logistics of it all because it makes my head hurt. And also means you have to consider things like Morgana's seed. God.

The mere thought of trying to put them all in one is HORRIFYING. It would have to be a modern AU (because I have a fetish for sniper rifles ♥) with Merlin/Morgana assassin-partners accidental genderfucked mpreg, splitting off later into Merlin/Arthur and Uther/Morgana after M&M (hah, worst assassin team name ever) try to take out Uther and fail but instead end up as reluctant allies. Somewhere in this Gaius turns into a chicken, Merlin gets put under a sleeping spell and a bunch of random loincloth wearing Spartans turn up for no apparent reason.

...you know it actually makes a scary kind of sense.
